Okay, I just had a brilliant piece done and lost battery power.  When I powered up, I was at first grateful it was there, but when I posted it, it went away.  Ratzzle, frazzle.

This past week, I've been privileged to receive e-mails, a note, and a phone call about devotions I wrote which were published in Christ in Our Home by Augsburg-Fortress.  These are short writings for two weeks in this quarterly booklet which reflect my insight and understanding of some Bible passages.  I don't feel I can take compete credit for the words I put on paper because without inspiration from a source beyond my brain, I would have been unable to complete this assignment.

Nevertheless, it's uplifting to know I have been a container which poured out water which refreshed someone else traveling this road. It is especially sweet to be affirmed for who I am when there are others who have sprayed me with dirt and grime to justify their ill intentions and deeds.

The first edition of this post was more wordy and better I think.  But what do I know.  Maybe it was edited by design.
My thanks to all who have stirred the wind to keep me lifted and in orbit.
